Golmaal Again will tickle your funny bone for sure. Read our Honest Review…

Hi and welcome to the honest reviews of the week. This week it’s Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again. Its the 4th series in the Golmaal franchisee. This is the 10th time Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgan have worked together ! We all know that Golmaal again is directed by Rohit Shetty, he has also written and co- produced the film. He has produced this film along with Sirshak Shrestha. Apart from the usual gang in the Golmaal series, ie, Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu and Tushar Kapoor, there are Tabu and Parineeti Chopra. Cherry on the cake is……. Nana Patekar! Yes, he is seen in a solid cameo and he is mindblowing as always. Sanjay Mishra, Johny Lever, Prakash Raaj, Sachin Khedekar, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vrajesh Hirjee and Mukesh Tiwari are also seen in important roles. The screenplay is written by Yunus Sajawal, dialogues by Farhad-Sajid (this brilliant duo also wrote the dialogues of Judwaa 2). The songs are composed by Amaal Malik, DJ Chetas, S Thaman, Abhishek Arora and Nucleya. They are penned by Kumaar.

Golmaal Again brings Rohit Shetty back with a bang! This is the first time he has attempted to club horror with comedy and what an attempt I say! By the way, this time he has very consciously done away with the usual cliques like flying cars associated with his films. He has also tried to give the entire film a sweet, comic book feel so that children also relate to the film. The film has been shot in the beautiful greens of Ooty majorly. Some portions have also been shot in Goa.

Its a simple story that goes many many notches higher because of its screenplay and dialogues. One expects a Rohit Shetty film to be a hilarious and a mad comedy and yes 10 on 10 to Golmaal Again for that! The graphics and the visual effects certainly add to the magic, thanks to Roopak Ghadei. The only drawback in the film was, that it gets a little predictable at times but c’ mon guys, chand mei bhi toh daag hote hain !

There are 4 songs in the film, all being loved by the masses. Maine tujhko dekha is the remixed version of the famous ‘neend churayi meri’ and is the most hummable track of the film.

This film is a definite visual treat with a comic timing that is sure to leave you in splits! Watch it guys. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Kudos to Rohit Shetty and the entire team of Golmaal Again!

This was the review of Golmaal Again for you. I will bring you the review of the movie releasing next week on next Friday. Till then take good care of yourself and catch all fresh and juicy bollywood updates on
